  1. About Lollipop and its manual.
  2.  
  3. You have obtained a package containing the Lollipop format 
  4. and its manual.
  5.  
  6. First run Initex on the file `lollipop.tex'; this dumps a
  7. file `lollipop.fmt'.
  8.  
  9. Then run TeX (or virtex on some unix systems) with the
  10. format lollipop on the file manual. Typically you type
  11.  >tex &lollipop manual
  12. or 
  13.  > virtex \&lollipop manual
  14. Something along those lines. You'll have to do that three
  15. times to get all of the references and the table of contents
  16. right.
  17.  
  18. The manual uses only Computer Modern, but there are a few
  19. lines in `manual.tex' that allow you to switch easily to Times
  20. and Helvetica on Macintosh and Unix systems.
  21.  
  22. Lollipop is not in a finished state. The manual contains
  23. some remarks about what is still to be done. If you have any

  41. Output written on manual (64 pages, 127602 bytes).
